Privacy policy

Cosafe Technology AB (corp. No. 556987-4539) (hereinafter ”Cosafe”, ”we” or ”us”) cares about protecting your privacy. We have therefore designed this privacy policy (hereinafter the ”Privacy Policy”) which describes how we collect, use, share, transfer and store information, including your personal information, when using our websites, cosafe.se, app.cosafe.se, admin.cosafe.se (the ”Website”) and our services Cosafe mobile app, Cosafe Desktop App and Cosafe Warning System (CWS) for communication (hereinafter collectively the ”Services”). The Services are provided, among other things, through our mobile applications (the ”Applications”). Personal data refers to all kinds of information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a natural person who is alive. Cosafe is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise agreed with the organization to which you belong.

By creating a password for Cosafe, you give your express consent to our processing of your personal data and the use of cookies and similar technologies as below.

3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When registering a User Account
In connection with the registration of a User Account for the use of our Services, we collect information about your name, your e-mail address, your work title and your telephone number.

When using the Services
We save certain information when you use our Services, when you register events, or communicate with other users. We collect information about when and to whom a message was sent, as well as information about your geographical location in connection with you sending a message through the functions Alarm, Personal alarm, On-call alert and ”I am OK”, if you allow this on your device. We never continuously monitor your geographical position.

Information about your device
We also collect certain information about the computer or mobile device you are using, such as your IP address, special device identifiers, which browser and operating system you are using, the device’s language and time zone, and which version of the Application you have. We also use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, see section 8 below.

Market research
If you participate in market research or the like that we conduct on our behalf, we may collect additional information in addition to what is stated in this Privacy Policy. This information may be combined with other information that you have provided to us, as well as with information from public sources. The information we collect is stated in connection with the market research and is approved by you in each individual case.

4. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect, including personal data, we process in order to provide our Website and our Services, to ensure that our Website and our Services function satisfactorily, and to develop and improve our Website and our Services. Furthermore, we may use this information to communicate with you regarding our Services.

We may also process your personal data to carry out customer analyzes in order to improve our Services.

The password you have chosen to use our Services protects your User Account. You should therefore choose a unique and strong password, and make sure that you are logged out of the Services when you no longer use them. If you suspect that any unauthorized person has received information about your password or access to your User Account, you must notify us immediately and change your password.

6. SHARING OF INFORMATION

People you share and communicate with
When you use the Services to communicate with other users, you choose which other users will see what you communicate. We do not take part in the messages, photographs or documents that you send within your groups.

Service providers
In order to be able to provide the Services, we may disclose your personal information to various service providers, who process your personal information on our behalf.

The above service providers will only have access to the personal data that is necessary for them to be able to fulfill their obligations to us and they may only process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. They are also obliged to take technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data to the same extent as we.

7. MINORS
We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you must have the consent of your parent and guardian to be able to use the Services. If we find out that we have collected personal data from persons under the age of 18, without the parent or guardian’s consent, we will take steps to delete the data.

8. USE OF COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

What are cookies?
We use so-called cookies on our Website and in our Services. A cookie is a text file sent from a server to your browser and stored on your computer, mobile phone or tablet when you visit a website. If you have a request, you are welcome to contact us at info@cosafe.se. The application must be sent from the same e-mail address that your registered user has in Cosafe (your Username in Cosafe).

10. ADDITIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
From time to time, we may make additions to or amend this Privacy Policy. You will be notified in the event of significant changes to the Privacy Policy.
